My roommate at the time got these pink and blue dollar store lights for a party we were throwing and I wanted to emulate all of the cool, colorful lighting in photos I was seeing on Twitter. 😠Humble beginnings... I still don't really spend any money on the shoots that I do; I try to make the stuff that I have look nice in crafty ways. (I'm trying to avoid saying my shit is jury-rigged through and through. It is.) It's amazing what you can do with things that you've avoided throwing away for years despite never getting any real use out of them. 😋 You heard it here, folks! There *is* a reason to hoard all of your useless junk!
