It’s hump day! Today I won’t be posting a work out 🙁 It’s a rest day for me! I wanted to talk about the importance of a rest day esp after an intense workout like the one I posted yesterday. I think a lot of people including myself when I first started working out used to think that you had to go to the gym everyday but this is not true and actually can do more harm than good for you. Why? Bc our bodies need rest in order to grow so if you’re not seeing results you may be over working your body. Working out 4-5 days a week and having a day of cardio is something that works for me. Depending on how sore I am I usually take 1- 2 days off from the gym. I like dedicating one day out of the week to cardio instead of lifting. Try switching up your routine if you’re struggling to see results! But take a break! Your body needs it!
