Good morning and happy Sunday โ˜€๏ธ I don't show much of my fa..

Good morning and happy Sunday โ˜€๏ธ I don't show much of my face for a couple of reasons; most people don't seem to care, others express a desire to see it in photos or videos - which is totally understandable. It's nice to know "who" you're seeing or who you're talking to, I totally get it. However I also think there's something to be said for mystery. When you don't know what a person looks like, they can be anything you like in your mind. And ultimately that's what OF is about for many people - fantasy. I've seen pics of hot men for example myself, they showed everything from the neck down - (everything ๐Ÿ˜†) and it was fine for me mentally because I already had created an idea in my head of what their face looked like, and of course I chose a gorgeous face. So the fantasy works. My reasons for not sharing it all are convoluted & maybe won't resonate with everyone but they are as follows: 1. privacy/confidentiality: I live in a small community, I don't need someone subbing to my OF and seeing me lol 2. my passion has never been make up or face selfies, I've always enjoyed photographing "things" - beautiful scenes, home decor, fitness progress, outfits... I stopped taking the ridiculous duck face selfies when I was a bit younger, coincidentally when I quit partying/drinking alcohol. I left facebook behind a long time ago & if it was not for YouTube, I would not have instagram either. Unfortunately they go together from a business standpoint, companies like you to have multiple platforms. 3. I feel that in this world there is so much fake out there, it almost defeats the purpose to post - how can one tell what is real and what isn't? Why would I post for thousands of strangers, the best and unedited version of ME - when it's essentially "competing" with millions of amazing "fake" things? Instagram has become a very disingenuous place. ๐Ÿงก So, I post only what I like, what I'm inspired to post, or what supports my goals or helps my business grow (fitness/youtube). ๐Ÿ’™ For a long time, before I started youtube, I had a separate instagram account to which I would post whatever I found beautiful and inspirational. Sometimes it was my home, sometimes me, sometimes a plant - my cat lol - whatever. I didn't have any followers as I wouldn't accept any. People from work would always try to follow me. They weren't friends. They were simply curious and gossipy. They wanted to know who was buying me expensive handbags or what I did on the weekend. (I'll do my best to control my eye rolls here.) Women, especially in healthcare, don't want to be be your friend. They just want something to chat about. They're envious & insincere. I've learned the hard way that I can't trust very many people especially if they hate their lives lol. ๐Ÿ˜Š I kept the account private. It was my creative release. It wasn't for attention, likes, external validation, money, or anything else. It was just what I felt was in me to create. And - had I not started youtube, I never would have allowed followers to pour in. (this is not my fitness account - a was separate one). I still to this day do not allow family or co-workers to follow me. Ever. Keep business and pleasure separate, always! โ˜๏ธ Sometimes I miss the private world when everything I did was purely for me and not with the underlaying knowledge that someone would see and critique it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ When you know you have an audience it alters what you create. ANYhow, that's a little slice of my mind. Rest assured if you're mind-fu**ing me, you're mind-fu**ing someone who DOES have a face, and it's a pretty cute one. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ’‹
