Added 2022-12-30 00:07:49 +0000 UTCAfter 7 hours of running I now know more on our 8 fur babies. 1 has FIV but not FELV. 4 have FELV but not FIV. 2 are testing negative for both. And 1 they couldn’t get tested today and we need to bring back on a sedative. The vet said although 2 tested negative (which we hope is true), there’s a high chance it was a false negative. And so those 2 need to be retested in 6 months. After discussing with the vet nearly all day on decisions to make, I decided to keep them all with much more safety precautions within the home when it comes to litter, feeding, and drinking. I know this isn’t 100% prevention, however it’s best for my circumstances and situations. The doctor did say if immune systems are strong enough, it’s possible to rid of FELV, but not FIV. For now I’m taking it day by day and loving up on them as much as possible. I have no doubt that they’re in the best hands they can be in. All are resting comfortably and doing good right now after a long day. Thank you for your prayers it means the world!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
