As a society we've been living soft lately, and right now my friends, we are in harder times. And I fear things will only get worse from here.
I don't just work out because I love it, and love looking good. The main reason I work out, and have been consistent with it, is because of what I fear is on the horizon for us as a society. I hope I'm wrong, but things are only getting worse around the world and here at home. In case of something extreme, I'd never want to feel helpless in dire situations. Not being able to help myself, but my kids and family as well.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I train boxing and muay thai. Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays I lift weights and do cardio. Sundays my husband teaches us survival, first aid, and weapons tactics. I like to ready for anything at all times. Call me weird if you like, I prefer the term "vigilant and well prepared."
