I decided to try a workout with dumbbells. But, when I walked over to the dumbbell rack to grab a pair of 10-pound dumbbells, a little mix-up happened. It turned out that I was too engrossed in talking to a friend on the phone and accidentally picked up one 10-pound dumbbell and the other a 20-pound dumbbell.
When I started doing the exercises, the difference in the weight of the dumbbells became obvious and I felt like a comedy character from a movie trying to balance on one leg while holding two different weight dumbbells. It all looked funny, but I continued the exercise, despite the laughter and smiles of the people around me.
