I'd conjecture that there are thousands of subs for every lifestyle Domme, which is an unfortunate ratio given how many men are interested in integrating D/s dynamics into their daily life. To explain this disparity, most people assume the problem is that there simply are not enough women who are interested in being dominant. The supply is low. Most women want to feel even-keeled or even feel "naturally" submissive to men, hence why there are so few of us that exist. I think this explanation is a red herring - a distraction from the truth. In my perspective, most women would *love* the life of a lifestyle Domme like myself. I believe this to be true based on my own extensive conversations with other women. When I tell them about my life, the vast majority ask me for more information. They want to know how to get into it, how to find subs. They ask me to mentor them, to guide them into my world. Seems to be in contradiction of the more common theory that women typically aren't into domination, right? Herein lies the bigger question, then: If many women are interested in dominating men, and there are many men available to be dominated, why aren't more women dominating men? To me, the problem is that most subs don't actually know how to be great submissives. You don't give off a vibe that generates interest in a woman to dominate you. This is most likely because you're leading from a place where you're seeking to have your kinks satisfy her, not the other way around. Should that be your thing then you are well-suited for a professional Dominatrix, as she will curate that exact experience for you. But for the rest of you whose fantasies fall deeper into the realm of lifestyle femdom, you're going to need some training.
