Added 2023-07-21 10:39:09 +0000 UTCHi lovers. Apologies for the radio-silence on here this is week. I was in London for a convention last weekend not posting much because I was traveling x busy) but while I was in London, I caught a bad chest infection.
I have always had a strong immune system, it’s something I have bragged about in fact. I only get sick maybe once or twice per year, but when I do… It takes me the fuck out!
I am very sick. in fact, I can’t remember a time I had a cold, flu, infection this bad. The stuff I am coughing up off my lungs, is red. So that means the infection is quite advanced. Worse, I’m running out of my stash of strong American meds. I would give anything to get my hands on more DayQuil, but I live in Europe and our medications here leave a lot to be desired. 4 days bed ridden…it feels like it might be a while longer. I’m one of those people who refuses to go the doctor unless I’m legit dying (aka I never go) and instead just suffer through it.
I haven’t been to see a doctor about an illness in nearly a decade, but I’m sick enough currently that I’m considering making an appointment.
