What can be communicated with the smallest gesture — a dart of the eyes; a shift in weight; and even the smallest change in pace or depth of breath — stretches across a delicious array of possibilities. Something light: a newly introduced curiosity. Or something heavy: the throbbing of a never explored, yet ever-present desire. . And then there are words.. sometimes we may fumble, or feel unprepared in naming what it is we long for. Yet, when an utterance of something our bodies know innately flows from the center of who we are and hope to become — through lips confident or quivering — we can find ourselves that much closer to the moments we ache to be immersed in. To be seen and to see. We are social creatures, after all. Say it to me with an assured sense of clarity, or say it to me at the very beginning of a winding path toward an unknown destination. .
