Big life update, incoming...
I'm usually an early bird, but I had a late night celebrating and was thankfully able to sleep in, so now I'm all bleary eyed at noon lol

We were celebrating because we found an absolutely perrrrfect place to live! The location is ideal. It has a huuuge, gorgeous backyard, 2 bedrooms (!!!!!), 2 full bathrooms, big windows with lots and lots of natural light, open concept and high ceilings make it feel bigger than it is, really nice kitchen with tons of counter and cabinet space, 5 closets, and it's even painted my favorite colors inside, purple and green 🥰

When we got there to look at the place, two deer ran across the backyard, it honestly couldn't have been more perfect. And the landlords (older couple) seem like genuinely good people, kind, down to earth, reasonable, and on top of their shit which is so important. I think we will all get along great! I can't believe we will have this much space all to ourselves!! I'm beside myself with happiness and relief 😭🥰✨️

Our living situation has been difficult and tenuous for basically the entire time we've been together (7 years) and we've spent waaaay more than enough time living with other people and waaay more than enough time living in this tiny, uninsulated cabin with minimal amenities.

We were having trouble finding an affordable place to live that wasn't a shithole and starting to get discouraged because temps are below freezing at night now which makes everything more difficult and uncomfortable here. We were about to give in, for now, and spend the time and money to insulate and sheetrock the cabin, set up a water situation that doesn't freeze, and a kitchen situation that isn't freezing (our camp stove is outside and there really isn't space for it inside), among other projects to prepare for winter.

I can't even begin to express the sheer joy and delight I feel knowing we won't have to do any of that anymore!!! We will start moving in next week, most likely, and should be completely moved in by the 1st of November 🥰

I'm sooooooo excited to make new content in our new space for you!! I feel like this is the beginning of something really special 🤩
