The city is filled with vibrant colors, bustling markets, and stunning temples that highlight the rich culture and heritage of the country. During my visit, I was fortunate enough to discover some of the most beautiful temples in the city, each with its unique architectural style and rich history. The Buddhist influence was evident in many of the temples, and it was incredible to witness the intricate details and artistic expressions of the ancient civilization. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Kumari Goddess House. The Kumari is a girl who is worshipped as the living embodiment of the goddess Taleju. As I wandered through the markets, I discovered some of the most beautiful handicrafts and souvenirs that showcased the artistic talent of the Nepalese people. From intricate wood carvings to colorful textiles, there was something for everyone to take home as a memento of their time in Kathmandu. Getting in touch with the local culture was an incredible experience, and I was blown away by the warmth and hospitality of the people I met. Nepal truly is a land of surprises, and I left with a newfound appreciation for the rich heritage and traditions of the country.
