

Your mind is a storyteller that interprets reality. When you were born, your mind was almost a blank slate. It uploaded all the stories around you. As you aged, you started developing a kinesthetic version of yourself. As you develop we had songs that helped us to learn ourselves. Like do the Hokey Pokey and turn around... However, somewhere along the way we lose ourselves in all these stories and many of us by the age of 20 or 30 feel lost in the system or the prison of our own minds. The hardest thing about failing or our life not being good enough is realising it is our own limiting beliefs that cause us to struggle, not the world's fault. So many of us grow to live a monotonous life and create justifications, identifications, blame everyone but ourselves, tie our self worth in stigmas and untruths and expect the world to or another to give us what we need. But no amount of this amounts to anything. Trust me I know. When I was at my darkest point (I write about this in my book). I did just that. I ended up attempting on my life. Lucky I failed but it woke me up. It was a turning point. It made me see it was painful to live like this and it was painful to relearn, change, grow and reprogram. However the second option gave me possibilities and better tomorrows. The first option left me lost, anxious and depressed and I no longer wanted to be that. I am not writing this to blame society or share how bad it is. I am just writing this to remind you, you have options but you have to be the option and choose you. The truth is to every goal and change in life the reason so many of us do not achieve is because we are looking for things that do not exists: This is not a quick fix. There is no handout You are your hero. This is a lifestyle. This is your life's work: To see what you are capable of. But only you can do your life's work. Choose this 2024 to write stories of empowerment and possibilities, not blame and justifications. Next time you feel like you are failing or bored, don't quit, pivot. Pursue another challenge that utilizes the skills you've acquired. For example if you get bored of your workouts, try a new one. If you get bored of your diet, learn to cook something new. When you feel your mental deposition is not balanced, make a more clear step and small goals between what overwhelms you and where you want to be so you dont get lost in that feeling. This 2024 deconstruct your stories and understand the stories of your mind that are running your life. Create a story that serves you rather than hinders you.
