Drew worked in the basement the entire day , clearing up the water and drying the floors before it spread to the rest of the house A half hour later he noticed a pool of water again. Warm . And discovered it was coming from a leak in the water heater . Ugh . Not how either one of us wanted to spent the last 24 hours but it is what it is The replacement of the water heater was actually the easiest part of the day . But the water had done its damage in the meantime and the entire finished room was soaked . Carpets needed to be torn up and the floors sanitized . Could have definitely been worse if we weren’t home so all in all we’ll settle for the slight inconvenience
