Added 2023-05-28 18:11:39 +0000 UTCBeanie went to the emergency vet this afternoon. A large mirror fell on him when he and bubby were playing😣😣😣 I didn’t think he was going to make it. It was so awful and he couldn’t get comfortable. I feel like such a terrible cat mom. Luckily nothing is broken, he’s able to walk just fine, move his head from side to side and up and down, but he has a hematoma in one of his eyes. He’s on steroids, pain meds, and an eye gel to keep his eye lubricated. The vet doesn’t think that he can see right now, but his pupils were reacting to the flashlight in his eye so she thinks that his sight will come back. She said he should be back to normal in a week. I really hope he’ll be okay.😣😓 I feel so awful. Kittens are supposed to play and have fun, not be in this type of condition.😞😞😞 The photo was taken from last night, the first time him and bubby slept together in my room.
