OP Part 11 Mini-Link + Apology + Explanation So, someone was asking for a smaller link, so I'm posting one for Part 11 only. Plus, I figured I'd address the delay on this post in particular since quite a few of you were understandably upset. I often miss deadlines, this is true. However, at the end of each month, I almost always have had at least 4 posts or a sum of posts that reaches 120+ pages. I'm not trying to justify anything here, but rather explain why I haven't made too many "excuse" posts like this in the past. I felt the delays weren't substantial enough to require a post except in abnormal cases like my 4th of July trip or when the NovelAI server goes down. However, with OP part 11, it was delayed a whole 3 days basically, and while I hoped I'd have it out around midnight, I wasn't finished until 9 hours later. Someone said "I should know how long it takes enough to make general predictions" which is true, but it's getting harder for me lately tbh. For this chapter there were a lot of issues: Time of day/ amount of light in the room would change between images all the time. Even some of the ones that made it in are too bright, but finding a good image with the right lighting was really difficult until I found a certain trick to make it more consistent. There were 15 group shots, which is just freaking peachy; especially since inpainting would often screw with the lighting. Lastly, I tried some new stuff which took a bit of experimentation to get right, like the image of Cindy lying on Ricky's chest with his head out of frame. Dealing with having the characters "under covers" or that blanket was a pain too, but here's what it really comes down to. I'm just getting pickier with the images. Both generation and editing are taking me longer, and I find myself getting more obsessed with correcting imperfections post-generation. What used to take 8 hours takes 10, what used to be a simple close-up shot of a character I now scrutinize heavily, etc. etc. But even so, I shouldn't make promises I can't keep.
