She laughs and makes her way back down to the seat in the corner. "Sure. I usually get bored in here all alone, anyway." She winks at you, smiling as she checks the guest list. "Everyone's here now, anyway. You were the last to arrive." You grab a chair from the side of the room and sit it across from her. "So, Mary. Tell me about yourself. I know what the boss says- but I bet there's a lot more to you than that." The two of you talk for 20 minutes or so. You learn that you have a few things in common. She pulls out a mini bottle of champagne from her purse. You chuckle, "You're prepared, aren't you?" "How do you think I keep myself entertained at these things?" she laughs as she pops it open. "I'm either hiding away or getting hit on by men 3 times my age." she laughs, adjusting her dress strap. You take a chance, "Well at least I'm not *that* much older than you." She looks at you, raising an eyebrow and smiling, "And here's innocent little me, thinking you were just being nice!" She chuckles and you shrug cheekily. She grabs two glasses, placing them on the side table next to her. She pours you a glass and hands it to you, before holding her own up for a toast. "To us," you clink glasses, "and our little rendezvous in the closet." Another 20 minutes later and you've forgotten about the employee party.
