When depression strikes, sometimes the best medicine is not to worry about what you can't accomplish...but to rest your mind and body. A little stillness goes a long way. Nothing can be done when depression hits me. There is nothing to be "fixed", I just need to be aware of it and ride it out as best as I can. Tools like napping, masturbation, and nature help to keep me pushing forward.
“I took my morning walk, I took my evening walk, I ate something, I thought about something, I wrote, I napped and dreamt something too, and with all that something, I still have nothing because so much of sum’thing has always been and always will be you.
I miss you.”
