The commercial holidays are fun and exciting, but today is the real reason I am excited for this time of year. Today is the shortest day of the year, or the longest night of the year, depending on how you like to celebrate. After tonight, the sun will begin to make its gradual return to warmth and light. 🤗
Today I am celebrating the solstice as I always do, by connecting with my body and the earth and taking a walk in nature! I’m starting with a little sweat sesh in the sauna, gonna have breaky, then it’s off the woods for my annual communion with the trees.
