Taking every step I can to fully recover from this horrible sickness so that I am healthy by the time we all get together again. Restarted my ginger/lemon tea regimen, I am self isolating, and I even took some pharmaceuticals to alleviate the pain. š¤§
Itās just so bizarre, this fucking virus. Once I cleaned up my diet and started exercising regularly nearly 10 years ago, I have only had the flu one time when I worked in a sickly call center, and food poisoning twice- damn you cross contamination! Thatās the only sick Iāve been after all these years, until that dreaded covid showed up, and now Iāve caught it twice. And now I am experiencing ārebound covidā where it got me again after 4 days of being back to 100%. This thing is no joke. Going on day 17 of dealing with this shit. š
My biggest struggle though is not the pain, but allowing myself to just chill out and rest. I feel the urge to be productive, to workout, to live a normal life. I know rest is the prescribed medicine right now, but damnit, I was feeling stronger, physically and mentally, than I have in my whole life before this. Itās hard to backslide. š„ŗ
