I arrived here in July, as this place has been on my bucket list for many years and because I have several other creator friends in the region. After a fairly lonely experience in South America, I craved to be around like-minded people in familiar places. 🥰
I always figured I would stay here until the new year, and my time here is coming to an end.
For those dreaming of a sunny escape right now, I feel you. I am right there with you. Living in the PNW during the rainy season has not been ideal for me. I am very adaptable, and I make do with whatever situation I am in. But given that I have the choice to live and work remotely, I do not choose cold, dark, and rainy for six months out of the year. I’m just being honest. 😂
