But hey, I made it to the cold plunge pool, so that was my big win for the day.
Today I am going to spend some much needed time in nature to bathe in the forest. I've been in Canada for nearly 2 months and have only done a small handful of nature excursions, which makes me a bit sad. I have spent so much of the precious summer time in a cycle of; hang with friends, work work work, burnout, repeat. I'm not complaining (a lot) but I do need more balance in my life. And for me, the surest path to regaining mindfulness, peace, and mental clarity, is getting deep into some mountains. Maybe that sounds like running away, but I am indeed running towards something.
