Yes Valentineās Day is about consumerism like every holiday under capitalism. The rulers want you to buy tons of jewelry and flowers and candy and expensive dinners and booze and romantic getaways. But like most customs and traditions in extremely unequal societies, it serves a dual purpose of making those who donāt have someone feel especially lonely and like there is something wrong with them. Itās the same reason modelās photographs are airbrushed and altered. Itās the same reason soulless commercial porn only allows women with huge fake tits and/or tons of makeup, and guys who have scary-large dicks. š±š Itās all designed to make you feel less-than. So that 1) advertisers and grifters can market everything from āgrow your dickā pills to plastic surgery to āhow to be an alpha maleā classes to you, and 2) so that you constantly feel inadequate and are thus more easily controlled and ruled by toxic āleaders.ā It is a revolutionary act to feel good about yourself under a system such as ours. When all humans come to the realization that we are all beautiful and worthy, then we will have utopia and heal this gorgeous garden world that is our home. š The first step is realizing you are indeed special and can have everything you want. It takes time, patience, humility and a lot of self-work. But you absolutely can. Throw their attempts to subjugate you back in their face by feeling good about yourself today.
