I’ve had a long standing tradition of going for a hike on this unholy day for nearly a decade. Nothing glorifies the pinnacle of human greed, wastefulness and disrespect for our planet quite like Black Friday. So I like to go out into nature and give her the love and praise she deserves, and would be receiving from all humans on a regular basis if our society wasn’t dominated by a ruling class who only understand the lust for more at literally any cost. I will be scarce in answering messages today, because I, like you, am a human being who requires time away from screens to reconnect with my environment and the bountiful gifts within it. If nature therapy isn’t possible for you, maybe escape into a good book? Have an exercise routine around the house or outside? Write in a journal or start a project you have been thinking of? Anything but shopping. 😁 I love and appreciate you all. I hope you enjoy your gifts from yesterday. This nature gal is going to take her medicine. 🌲🏔️💚
