For those of you who are interested in the pumping milky side of things, this one's for you! And if you're interested in the nerdy details of breastfeeding, here you go: Breastfeeding individuals have "let downs" which is literally the ejection of milk from the breast. It's not just a matter of someone sucking milk out. Yes, I can still express milk (aka work it out with my hand) because it's usually readily available - but not at the volume or rate that comes when I have an actual let down. My let down is triggered by my kids suckling at my breast and the release of hormones that comes with that. There are two videos here because in the first one, I anticipated my let down happening, moved my pump from the suckle mode to suck mode too early, psyched my body out and didn't get that hormone release. So there's not much milk coming out. Then we stopped filming, I moved it back to suckle mode, waited patiently, took some deep breaths, and THEN the let down came. So we filmed again cause I wanted you to be able to see how much more milk there is! lol this is real life. Enjoy! #fyp
