Everything is a story. My brown belt I could go on forever but right now let’s go in to the left cheek tattoo…😉 When I was about 18 my dad was going through a midlife crisis and bought a ‘98 t-top corvette. He let me and my best friend take it out for the night and we decided to go cruising in downtown Denver. We ended up at at a stoplight next to another corvette. We gave each other the look to race, even though it was only going to be to the next stop light. 💪🏼😂 The coast was clear, there were no people, and we peeled out. I don’t remember who won. We ended up laughing and talking with the other driver and passenger and decided to hang out. Conversations revealed that they were apprenticing to be tattoo artists and offered to give us free tattoos. My friend and I decided we wanted to get something together, so we landed on the idea of this little heart on our left booty cheeks. Mine was black and purple, hers was black and pink. Shortly after we got the tattoos (we had seen them open the packaging so we “knew” we were being safe 🙄) they started saying they are directors with Girls Gone Wild and if we wanted to “try out” that they could “get us in” and that they would buy us beer. We looked at each other and she said “I forgot something in the car, Cat, could you come with me? We will be right back?” As we got out of the door we went in to a full sprint, jumped in the corvette and sped away, never to look back. Yes that was dumb, yes it was bad to race, yes we left without saying goodbye, it went from being reckless fun to unsafe vibes. Such a different chapter, I would never now 😅. She went on to be one of the top realtors in Colorado and I went on to be a world class athlete. We both kept the tattoo :) Do you have any dumb tattoos or questionable decision making stories from when you were a new adult?
