At the feet of a giant woman.
She doesn't notice you at first, but when she does, she isn't at all surprised. It almost seems like she's used to it.
You explain the situation, and she is adamant she doesn't know where your girlfriend is. But after a bit more probing, she pulls out... the jar.
A jar stuffed with tiny people, just like you. She goes through them, one by one, asking if they're your girlfriend. To your dismay, they aren't. And to your terror, she disposes of every one of them as she pulls them out.
Most of them are eaten. Some of them are stuffed away, between breast, thigh, and toes. But none of them are your girlfriend.
After a bit, the giantess realizes something.. she has one more, tucked away in her locket.
And it is your girlfriend! But it's not good news.
The giantess had stored her away for an after dinner dessert, and isn't willing to let her go.. but she's willing to compromise.
Let's just say.. you'll both end up in the same place.
