The canopy beds allowed the option of semi-privacy for people who wanted it, or you could leave the canopy open if you didn't care whether or not people watched. We rarely saw anyone with the canopy closed and we never personally played with it closed We actually wanted to play with it closed on one particular occasion...More on that later...
