Planning a surprise for your mate is one very direct way to show that you really care and to create a memory at the same time. The one receiving the surprise only gets to enjoy it while it lasts or as a memory, but you’ll have the added pleasure of planning and executing the entire event.
Do something unpredictable, spontaneous, and different. Don’t worry that you’re ‘not the type’ – everyone has the ability to be creative and exciting. It just takes time, energy, and the willingness to try something different.
*I took this pic yesterday evening on the way to the surprise birthday gig I put together for the hubs. His band headlined, and the band he plays bass in opened. Tons of friends and family came.
