She said it was a little awkward at first. She walked into the room in nothing but a robe, and after the TA was done talking to the students, she looked at my daughter and said, 'Whenever you're ready'. My daughter was like, alrighty then, off it goes. She said it was surreal just drop her robe and stand there fully nude in front of a room full of strangers.
She didn't realize going in that she would be in charge of coming up with poses, but luckily she's pretty good at adapting. I was surprised they had her do so many different poses in one sitting:
f0ur 30 second poses
f0ur 1 minute poses
0ne 5 minute pose
0ne 20 minute pose (sitting)
0ne 1 hour & 30 minute pose (lying on a mattress)
She sent me pics of a couple of the drawings and they're so good! I like one in particular. That artist told my daughter that she'd finish the drawing the next time my daughter models, and give it to her to keep. Honestly, it looks pretty darn amazing already, if you ask me! It was from the 1 1/2 hour segment lying on a mattress and the detail she captured in my daughter's curly hair is just captivating. She has already drawn her whole body, but I'm guessing she's going to be adding more detail possibly? I'd seriously frame that piece as is.
She told me to go ahead and post that drawing on OF if I want...but I think I'm going to save it for our mother/daughter page. Since it does kinda go with the whole mother/daughter theme. I might wait until she gets the finished product and post both the before and after. Unless you aren't interested in seeing it?
