I loved hanging out with them and I'm even more excited now that the hubs is covering bass for them for a while! The drummer and his wife recently built a new home with a whole decked out studio/practice space above the garage. So that's where we had our little get together. Their home sits in the middle of the woods, so we got to watch families of deer hanging out near their firepit. But mostly we drank and laughed and eventually played cards after the guys were done practicing. It was so much fun!
Some of you guys mentioned how the girls might be jealous, but I've been pretty lucky about that with the women I'm around. Sure, that's happened on occasion, but most often we end up being friends anyway. (Sometimes not, but you can't win them all.) I feel really lucky that I get to enjoy the company of both men and women without a lot of interference from fear based emotions.💓💓💓
