Added 2021-07-06 17:57:59 +0000 UTCBUT I didn't play for years and when I picked up a ball to play catch with my own kids, I was mortified to realize my body had betrayed me...I was throwing LIKE A GIRL. In a bad way, not a bad-ass way. Now whenever we play, I make someone run out to the backyard with me first so I can remind my body how this whole thing works. It's the same with throwing a frisbee. I swear, if you happened to drive by when I made my first few throws, you'd very likely question my ability to walk without assistance. Thankfully, it does all come back to me once I warm up...for the most part. 🤷♀️😬 My family finds this endlessly entertaining.
