By the way, I’m an Enneagram Type 7. And while there's quite a bit of variation between people of any Enneagram Type based upon how healthy they are, the amount of stress in their lives, and their ‘Enneagram Wing Type’, there tends to be a general theme within each Type in regard to sexual preferences and outlook. Here are some of the ways my Type 7 comes out in my sexuality:
- I seek new sexual adventures to distract from the boredom of daily life
- That does NOT mean I’m unfaithful (no chance of that) – however, unhealthy 7s may be a bit prone to distracting themselves from problems in their lives or relationships by playing with others (particularly if they are not self-aware).
- I get bored with the same-old-same-old in the bedroom
- I like options and variety
- I don’t like to wait to have fun, so I look for ways to incorporate some degree of pleasure into most moments
- I’m more motivated and less annoyed with completing the mundane chores necessary to be a functioning adult if I have some sort of sexy reward or adventure to look forward to.
