At this point I was pretty sure my tingly little spidey senses were right on target because it sure seemed like she saw my little flash just before another biker cruised through the tunnel from the opposite direction, and she still stuck around. She wasn't looking at her phone or even trying to appear that she was pre-occupied (other than to look around aimlessly a bit here and there as other bikers and walkers made their way through the tunnel). For a brief moment I started to wonder if maybe she was waiting for us to leave so she could go through the tunnel in peace, so I smiled and waved. Figured I'd feel out the situation. She gave me a big smile and kind of nodded her head and waved...she didn't seem annoyed in the least. She just seemed confident, comfortable and happy to be standing exactly where she was. Sooo, I thought I'd give her (I mean, take) a little ass-flash photo at our next opportunity. I admired her willingness to hang around...if I were in that situation, I probably would have WANTED to do exactly what she did, but I'm pretty sure I would have felt (and looked) too awkward to pull it off.
