The wild part is I confirmed everything with this girl the day prior. The day of the shoot came; I sent a text early to confirm, no reply. I told her that I was on my way to the spot, no reply. I told her I was setup and to let me know when she's headed to the spot, no reply. I let her know I would wait until a certain time, no reply.
She did respond by the time I broke my stuff down, stating that she 'overslept' and asking to keep the booking. Once I break my stuff down and my time has been wasted, that's the end of the session and the talent is effectively cutoff.
Even though this is a hobby for me, I take my time seriously. I could've rocked with a girl who always shows up, or I could've been doing anything else. I don't reward bad behavior, and the only reason girls tend to do things like this is because producers/directors tolerate it. WACKSACK culture doesn't allow for this type of behavior.
This also RARELY happens, but there were obvious signs for me that it was prone to happen, starting with the delayed communication patterns.
The good part is I now I have a new location I can access now, so prepare to see some future clips with RELIABLE talent with this setting! :-)
