Sometimes, I feel that piano songs are the most 'stripped down' kind of music, simple, raw, closest to daily life. And other times, it feels constrained and supernaturally/unnaturally elegant, in the way that ballet is. But I suppose that isn't /not/ daily life. It all is. Does any of this make sense...?
