NADI SHODHANA: alternate nostril breathing exercise from my yoga practice. Have you tried to breath separately through one nostril at a time? This exercise helps your mind to be more focused, your body to relax, and balances your oxygen flow! (Not to mention that it is great to open that clogged morning nose) - Sit in a comfortable position where your sitting bones are evenly on the floor/mat/pillow - place your left hand on your left knee and position your spine straight and in line with your neck and head - lift your right hand towards your nose and close your second and third for hrs like I show you in the video - -use right thumb to close your right nostril and inhale through your left nostril for 1,2,3,4 seconds - pause and hold your breath for 4 seconds - exhale through your right nostril by closing your left one with your las two fingers (4seconds) - hold without air for 4 seconds - inhale through right, hold your breath, exhale through left, hold again. You have now completed 1 full cycle. Repeat.
