It definitely was a difficult month.
Im excited for life to be boring again haha.
Trash chute broke down so had to haul stinky trash out daily (mom life hahah) the hot water stopped working for a while, cold showers aren’t that bad actually unless the water is actual ice 😆 And then something with the furnace broke so I didn’t have heat, then my apartment complex valet company decided they wanted to move my truck, and somehow totaled my truck by trying to park it. (Wtf)
The pros of January:
I made a few yummy treats when I was feeling up to it! I also did tons of arts and crafts with my babies. And my cat Skittles is growing a little belly because I started baking him homemade cat treats.
Most of the month just seemed like a fight to survive haha. I am so grateful for my truck and everything it did for my babies and I. Especially when the furnace went out this month, and I drove around with my babies and cranked the heat. It was such a wonderful feeling to have something I could depend on. I hope my apartment complex can figure everything out because I still don’t know very much after they told me they towed it.
I’ve also blown through my entire savings the last few weeks.
There was so much time this month where I had maintenance over trying to fix things, or something new happened that I had to take care of. I missed more work than I did when I was recovering from my pregnancies. I had to use all my vacation days I saved up and it was nowhere near a vacation 😅 life isn’t fair y’all. I’m trying to keep my head up and stay hopeful
