Not feeling the poem - just the movement, the maddening, the emotion Cute little words: adjectives and verbs-yet no inclination, no notion - frozen It's a day to put the guns down, lay low the hat to the brow and let go Drift away; whether morning, midday or as the sun fades-rest easy-rest slow Take heed the heart, begin anew with the dawning dew: a new start When you're rested and ready, the draw and the trigger ride steady The grimace is gone; given way to where that grin belongs-sheepish and coy From under the brim that twinkle shines from within: not this time cowboy!
