She said she felt bad for telling her kids to just stop crying instead of implementing any of the ideas in this graphic. I 100% agree that telling a kid to stop crying is ineffective, and that it's actually abusive. But I also think we can implement this way of thinking towards one another as adults. Let's open our hearts, develop empathy, wisdom, and sincere concern for one another. #donttellmenottocry xo
