With everything that's been happening lately I've been slow to move. Half of my savings is gone π«
I hope if you had stocks you were able to pull your money out fast enough π€
And if you don't have money in stocks, now is a great time to play with them.
I like to play with UPRO.
All of my money is tied up already from the fall so I can't do it,
But...
I watched it bounce 3 times the other day,
$3 swings. Thats a lot of money for someone who is watching it.
I think if you do it, you should focus on little swings, like 50 cents. But stay watching it, so you know when to sell. As soon as it starts to fall, you sell. That way you get the big swings. But if you schedule it to sell at 40 or 50 cents on the days that you can't watch it, you should do well. It's down to $52 a share right now. So its cheap enough for everyone to start playing. But if you're just starting, remember to play small swings so you don't loose your money π
For me, I have to wait for the market to come back up before I can start playing with that money again. But last year it didn't take long for that to happen, and historically, April is a down month, and May it's back up. So it's a good time to buy, and I know Trump is going crazy right now, but I dont think that's a reason to be scared. You either buy and hold a normal stock like S&P 500, because buying at a discount is always nice. Or you buy UPRO like I like, and play every day. I like to do both.
