What one material thing, ex)house, car, shoes, jewelry, would be the hardest to get rid of? When I moved to NYC Mr. Grey, my car my only real asset left in my name I finally sold. I had my car for ten y*rs, and it safely, drove Romeo & me cross country. I highly recommend everyone & anyone to make a road trip & or go on a trip alone! Life-changing & every day, I'm learning how to slow down & enjoy the moments. I will miss my car, but it's just stuff. I was still finding Bailey pug hairs between the car seats. Her dog hair was the worst, but she taught me so much and those snorts... miss her. On June 5, 2013, she passed away & it seems like my path since then has been much more spiritual. A few months before that, I moved to San Francisco & was getting my doctorate in Human Sexuality. A new city, trying to m*eet new friends, going to school & my Bailey my pug of 13 y*rs passed. It was a tough time for me, but I stayed positive & still kept my life together. M*et amazing people living in SF & so many stories & memories I cherish, and I will never forget!! But, I still didn't feel like SF was home. After living in SD for 18 y*rs before SF...Wow, a long time SD was home. I got my bachelor's in marketing, built my life, a home, biz, and many friends. Wild crazy 20s & 30s in SD! (I can write blog stories forever on my SD lifestyle!) Interested? I can keep writing, but my main point today is Stuff! Have you thought about a Minimalist Lifestyle? Have you read the book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up-The Japanese art of decluttering & organizing? Less Stuff, fewer Bills, No Debt, Less Stress! What matters in life? Being loved, loving someone. Food, shelter, health... What matters to you? I would love to hear below... I already know politics is always going to get in the way. Especially now...The worst I have ever seen. I sold my house almost 7 y*rs ago in SD. I felt like a shift was happening. At that time, I didn't know Trump was running or going to become President. Just a feeling Big Changes are happening. Did you feel that way? Are you feeling that way now? The more stuff I had, the more bills and the more stress. For what? Money, power, image, control. xoxo, DR @drresa #drresa
