Finally my account is unlocked, sorry for the delays. Apparently I was sharing a bit too risky content in DMs 🥵 Here is my latest Episode, 13 already! Hope you enjoy.
I received so many DMs regarding my outfit, and no, it was not for Halloween. Yes, I will show you my Halloween costume 😋.
Actually, I just dressed up one day, went to an abandoned park (like this, with the bat hidden in the bag), and started training there. In the end, I took a few photos for a contest. Maybe one day, I will show you more. I didn't end up liking the set because the stuffed inserts in the bra looked worse in the photos than they did in real life.
For #throwbacktuesday, some intense training pictures from times after I left group training and had a personal coach...
I am green belt in Karate and have half year of full contact kick-boxing behind me and total over 5 years experience.
And no worries, my coach never hurt me, he just liked training with me and used lot of techniques to make sure I am not afraid to actually hit if need to protect my self. We had weight difference of over 70kg so I was no danger to him anyway.
As always DM if you want to see more how intense I can be 🥰.
Let's close the retrospective week with 18yo Joli being good woman and doing the laundry. Did you actually knew that if you do ALL your laundry at the same time, you will have nothing to wear for a day, but you will have ALL your clothes clean? Awesome lifehack, no?
Anyway I am doing a bit better, not so sick anymore so will be back on track by tomorrow. And if you wish to see more from the good old days... DM...🥵💖
I think most experience with cars I gained back in Germany when for fun and tax reasons I subscribed to Sixt abo and had every few days different loaner car.
Germans have a nice word for it: "Spritztour". Loosely translated as joyride, but means closer to "wasting fuel". Simply you take your project car out for a date, downshifting in sunset, kicking ass lose on curvy roads, roaring engine, smell of burned rubber...
Now you know another nice German word.
Eat it Greta. Nobody joyrides vacuums, not even yer momma.
I know you love BlackHog as much as I do, so you will be happy to hear that we went today for shoe shopping! Isn't he cute now? Now we can really hit the volcanoes! 🌋🐗
Well half of the dashboard is still missing, but... You know. It's not the beauty what matters, it's the character.
I tried to sell a bike I restored, but nobody wanted to buy it. Then I used this picture to sell it and sold it in 36min. 🤷♀️
If you need marketing advise or two, hit me in the DMs. I know three things or four.
💋 Good evening...

As you see, I suck at poetry so I will have to sadly stay your favorite photographer and car mechanic.
Good morning V̶i̶e̶t̶n̶a̶m̶ ! I mean OFland...👅
If you think I can make your Monday even better, let me know...
This week I decided will be focused only on 18yo me and requests / customs. Because I have been so busy trying to get BlackHog on the wheels again, that had not time to shoot too much.
Pretty much the same misconception is regarding the use of screws or blade connection. Easy, screws will always be better, they are just more expensive, more effort and impossible to automate. Use screw terminals for everything serious and most importantly every not fused line.
Here I am making two new fuse boxes on BlackHog. One for 12V and one for 24V.
Second picture shows original fuse box.
Now you see why I say I do it "better than new". 🤷🏽♀️💪
Contrary to what "everyone" think, soldered connector will always be better than just crimped one. If some 120 years old mechanic tells you opposite, tell him that some random chicken from Internet said otherwise.
Soldering is not robot friendly, expensive and outlives the car. Something car manufacturers hate. And naive, underpaid mechanics adopted it for century.
Now you know. Solder every wire you care about on your project car.
If you squirm, you will see future schematics of the "better than new" BlackHog...
And fyi, I am just unpacking, of course I am very organized girl. As we Germans say, Ordnung und Disziplin muß sein!
I have seen my share of old-timers and they all have the same issue. Electric is neglected, completely disastrous and often very dangerous. People would put new wheels, new paint and leave old wiring as it was and patch problem with hardware store fixes.
Reason? Most mechanics are scared or unaware how all this works. Or do simply do not bother. I actually enjoy it so when I can get some old gem cheaper because everyone else gives up on it, I am happy.
Fun part on my BlackHog is that if there would not be electric power steering, there would be just 3 wires to make the car work 🤣. So let's replace it all.
And as you can see BJ40 is 24V car so it makes the whole job a bit more complicated, but I love challenges and it sure will be better than new. Proper modern fuses, over dimensioned wiring, major connections soldered and of course relays for everything instead of power switches.
At the same time I will also install the window washer (which is missing) and delete the heater (which is pointless).
Rough cars, even more so is the scenery contrasting soft, naked, explicit me? Sounds intriguing? Get my '24 calendar which is better than ever before.
