I was about 6 or 7, & my sister was 10 or 11. Our bedrooms were at opposite ends of the house, & since we had converted our trailer & built an extension, her bedroom was actually the old livingroom. It had a huge window, which was nice during the day & creepy af at night. So one night, in the middle of winter, my sister wakes me up In a panic. She said someone was outside of her bedroom. I went with her back to her room & immediately heard something outside. It sounded EXACTLY like someone was digging. The classic sound of the shovel breaking ground, lifting out of the soil, & throwing the dirt that was collected. We tried shining the flashlight outside, but couldn’t see anything, as there weren’t any street lights or neighbours for miles. It was way away from the City, too, so even though the stars could be bright, it could also be the blackest abyss. She slept in my room that night, but a few times a week, we would hear him outside. We called him “the digging man”. While I haven’t heard him in a year or two, my sister has heard him, but only when she’s been pregnant.

Hello my loves! Remember how I was all excited to go to my sisters place? WELL. Buckle down for story time. If you don’t believe in ghosts, just pretend it’s fake news & skip the story 😂❤️ So this place is beautiful. It’s ALL wooden interior. Big windows. Lots of natural light. Surrounded by nature. No street lights, so you can see the stars. MASSIVE backyard with lots of plant life & trees. HELLA. OLD. I’ve never been there alone, & never spent much time inside the house, as family events are always held outside. I get there, unload my stuff, try to make myself at home. When I say this place feels wrong, I mean that it feels like you’re not alone. And it doesn’t sound like you are, either. Obviously the house is old, so it’s going to have some creaks & cracks, but I’m talking footsteps upstairs & a toy turning on by itself in the other room. I messaged my sister & was like “hey, I hate it here. Why didn’t you tell me this place is haunted, you bitch.” I’ve always been hella sensitive, & she knows this, but whatever. During the day it was ok ish... I hung out outside in the yard. But as soon as the sun went down, the noises started, & I felt incredibly uncomfortable. I went to bed, covered my sisters mirrors because she had several IN FRONT of her bed, & put on an audiobook. I kept the hallway light on but closed the bedroom door & turned the light off. As soon as I turned off the light, I could see a shadow under the door, & creaking just outside. I immediately turned the light back on & I kept that fucker on ALL NIGHT. I didn’t sleep until 7am. I got up a few hours later & hung out with my Mom for most of the day. Night number two was pretty much the same. I didn’t want to stay up. So I’ve hardly slept for two days. But my ass is smarter than the average horror movie & I got the FUCK out today 😂👏🏼 My Mom dropped me off at home. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a house before. And I can tell you right friggen now that I am never house sitting for her again!
