Isn’t that what’s kind of stunning about literature? You finish “the best book” you’ve ever read. But then there’s another life changing novel. And another one after that. I love books and I’m so h glad I started listening to audio books. I’ve read to 19 books this year so far. I listen to an audio performance (some narrations are truly theater!) and then I buy the hardcover physical copy. Basically I buy it twice 🙃 Cost is worth the entertainment tho, every time.

This video is not a filter to make it look retro. It’s real film! In the posts below I talked about how I’m starting to share my personal hobby with you and making content on FILM. real film that gets scanned and digitized. (watch + read that post) and here is my first reel ever!

In this video I explain what has become one of my favourite hobbies - shooting content on real **MOTION PICTURE FILM** 🎥📽️🎞️
I think only a few of you will appreciate this. How it will take weeks and costs me several hundred dollars to produce only a couple minutes of footage on **real 8mm film**. I could otherwise make the same content for FREE and instantly on my iPhone or digital camera!! *But that's not the point.*
This medium is art. The degree of obsession making content on **real film** requires is almost silly. not many of you will appreciate it. But a few of you will "get it" because a few of you are artists, or went to film school. Others will "get it" because you just appreciate my work and my aesthetic. And I appreciate those fews.
**Eventually working towards making pornographic content on celluloid film is the goal**. Like I should have been around during the lower Manhattan 1980’s original porn scene (**if you haven’t watched the historically accurate portrayal of sex work + early porn era industry - the award winning HBO series THE DUECE…I highly recommend!!!**) smut on FILM was cutting edge back then, and now it’s only making a debut for me. It’ll be a long tedious and very expensive process to put porn on film but I’m pretty excited for it.

years past I used to be the kind to throw a big elegant and themed backyard soirée with lots of friends.
Moving across the world has a way of disrupting those traditions a bit. Half my friends locally are gone and I didn’t make plans this birthday. That made me sad at first, lonely. Last minute I asked a girlfriend if she wanted to take a naked swim in the ocean to celebrate my birthday and a new year starting. She immediately said yes! She picked me up this morning with fresh croissants and we drove out to the sea. It had stormed earlier so the waves were brutal and strong, but the Atlantic waters were tepid and refreshing…it’s almost the time of year when the water turns warm. This morning was special. I’m headed to spontaneous dinner with my group of pals now. Then early to bed. Getting old(er) is fucking great.

I instantly stripped, then cautiously tried to get some dreamy afternoon shots. But as always, I am limited on what I can capture, out of privacy concerns. If I want to be in direct light and have the sun across my skin (*there’s literally only a few minutes per day of direct sunlight into my house to begin with!*) then I have to be naked **directly in the window**. But that’s not discreet, it’s not safe or smart of comfortable for me, let alone legal. I live here. This is my home. thank you to the real ones who have stuck around and been present on my page while I was taking a short break for 2 weeks.
