What is something you have always wanted to change about yourself?
When I was a little girl I did not like my name. I was so frustrated nobody could say it right. I wanted to change my name to Lily. Then a famous singer came and everyone could say it was Rihanna. It is still often said wrong but these days it's okay for me.
My name originated from Wales. Mum and dad were travelling and heard the name Rhyann and liked it but said because of the English tongue in Australia, it would be better with an a on the end so called me Rhyanna.
Many people think my name comes from the song Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac but this is a different name.
I was born a redhead, strawberry blond. But in the 80s red hair was not very liked so mum wrote brown in the baby book. She now loves red hair. I also love red hair. My hair is natural. I do not dye it. Depending on the light you can sometimes see more red.
Tell me something you wish to change about you or an interesting fact about you in the comments below?
This photo was taken in Switzerland one hot summer day. I love Switzerland because it is very accepting of the body and it has such beautiful nature wherever you go.

This one was a fun piece to make with Volo. Bandaid yoga. It is a wonderful gift to try new things and experience what you've never experienced before.
Interesting sticking on and taking off all the bandages. As a kid I was never a fan of band aids. It was the quick release method when tearing them off. 123 rip. How did you use to take bandages off slow or fast?
One truth nobody realises or remembers with yoga is it doesn't matter if you aren't flexible. It doesn't matter if you're feeling tight. It has to get done if you want to be flexible, release pain or just make a simple change. No matter how much you think it sucks (which is true, most growth and changes do suck at first, but so few people actually get past this to find the magic). I may look flexible but I had and still have to go through the growth process. Today I just did over splits and middle splits and my hip flexors and groins are on fire. Join me and stretch.

A “hip-opening” exercise is any move that stretches the hip flexor muscles. They have several key benefits, including: Reducing back and hip pain. A 2021 review found that hip flexor stretching decreases tightness that can lead to pain.

If there is one thing I am learning about life it is that you are your largest cheerleader and your biggest naysayer.
The most important voice that will ever matter will be yours.
It is hard to know this because when all those voices come that remind you, you are not enough. You have to remember to light your own light and know they are not there to stop you, but they are simply just a reflection of your inner insecurities that you have to overcome. These triggers or people are not bad people either, they are just hurting people hurting people as the cycle goes.
Secondly we have to understand that we are also hurting people, and the more we use the power to observe, rather than assume or judge the more we connect rather than disconnect. Or create conversations that help us to learn and grow.
We often call out all the people that shame and judge us but forget to look honestly at ourselves and how we do the same. Our true responsibility in life is how we respond to everything.
If we want to hold the power in life we also have to be willing to let go of what does not serve us. Not because it or they are not worthy but because simply the world needs more people coming alive.
Letting go and forgiving is key to being able to make our lights bright. These are not there to say it is okay what others or the world do or did. But they are there so we can keep our lights shining and we do not become part of the cycle where all our lights get smaller and we complain about how this world and our lives are this and that.
To change this world we need to be the change and that means starting with the person in the mirror.
What positive thing can you tell yourself today?
What lesson have you learned that has helped you overcome that you can share to inspire another?
What are you grateful for today???
We often forget this breath right now someone else is losing, our arms and legs that may be too red, or marked or not the way we want, someone does not have, our face that may not be what we want it to be or the skin we have that may have cellulite, redness, bruising, veins, skin condition, someones is burned or damaged beyond ours. They do not hide but they get up and live and still make the most of what life is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=I60WGzewsh8 A great exampe Tara inspires me beyond words. So often I deal with eczema, rashes and so many other things and it is nothing compared to Tara. She gets up every day and shines her beautiful light and she reminds me to do the same. Even when I feel not enough, or other peoples voices get in my head with their unkind words, when I deal with my own skin or body challenges.
We are in a society that is fixing things that really aren't making our lives any better. We have good lives but continue to find problems no matter how good we have them. It is time for us to start making the most of what we have. We only have one life.
Sure it is nice to look yöung and youthful, it is nice to have a body that we feel more confident in or it is wonderful to know more than we do. But all these things do not determine a positive life and a good life. They are just psychological barriers that society has driven into us to make us feel inferior because of how we view the body and sell things but the truth is we are enough just as we are.
As a kid I nearly drowned several times. I ended up overcoming these fears. I became a state swimmer and national waterpolo player. I have still not learned to surf, however when I get the chance again to be near the beach I want to take lessons. A lady that inspires is. Bethany is a well-known professional surfer who lost an arm in a shocking shark attack at the yöung age of 13. Read more about her in the link above.
I feel overwhelmed with my one arm handstand journey in handstands but I just read about....Jim Abbott became a Major League Baseball star despite being born without his right hand. Citing his disäbility as a motivation to work harder, Abbott finished his baseball career having played for the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees as well as pitching a no-hitter in 1993. Now I am even more inspired to know that only my willingness and mindset are stopping me and I should continue this journey no matter where it finishes.
Personally I often worry about maybe I cannot do things, I am not good enough on so many levels. I've been told many times by people I am ugly, I am not good enough to model, I am not strong or smart enough for X. But the truth is I am and I have both my arms and legs and a fully functioning body.
Last Jan 2023 and last year as a difficult time for me I lost a fair bit of use of my left arm. I am left handed. I could not feel my fingers on my thumb and index and middle finger. I could not undo the drink bottle and lift heavy things. I lost my ability to handstand the press, deep backbends, push up and even the ability to sleep for a few months due to the pain. 1.5 years later I have recovered most of my skills but still working on some other small details and rehab. The injury occured just by turning my neck . Overuse of my shoulders and other areas caused compression of the Brachial nerves in my neck. I still have nerve issues from the Thoracic outlet syndrome I am learning to manage. But reading a story like this below, reminds me that the only limitation is the one we put on ourselves.
Alana Nichols is a three-time Paralympic gold medal winner who has taken part in three separate sports in the Paralympic games.
When she was 17 years old, Alana suffered a devastating spinal cord injury in a snowboarding accident while wintering in Colorado. The accident left her parälyzed from the waist down. Soon after her injury, she discovered a talent for wheelchair basketball, eventually winning a gold medal at the 2008 Paralympics.
After this triumphant win, Nichols returned to her original passion: skiing. One can only imagine the thrill of returning to the sport she was so passionate about. In 2010, she qualified for the Winter Paralympics and won two gold medals, one silver and one bronze. Nichols also competed in the paracanoe, taking her total to three Paralympic sports.
As a person on social media I know I am imperfect. I have enough people telling me daily. I give my heart and soul here. I give free programs, youtube, and instagram content, I study and continue to learn and no matter how I try to help others I am told daily by the world I fall short. It is sometimes hard. These voices often make me feel very inferior and not good enough to be here sharing my story, my art and my life. However I know deep down and by the kind voices I am blessed to hear also, I am worthy just like anyone else. But my aim is different to most. I am not here to pretend I'm someone or be perfect. I just simply want to share so people know they are not alone or they can too. I also want to help others to learn and grow who may not have the resources to access the knowledge I have. I know I do not have to be perfect to make a difference and I want others to know that too. Just helping one person at a time is making a difference. It is not a numbers game. It is a heart and soul and ripple effect game. I hope we all remember this more.
So if you are struggling remember firstly it's human and you are not alone. Secondly it's okay to struggle but it is not there to stop you only to inspire you to become. Read the link above. These are only a few people but there are so many inspiring people breaking down. It's possible one step at a time overcoming the odds to become who they want to be.
You can as well, believe and achieve.

Would you like to learn straddle splits? What do you find hard about straddle splits?
I just created a top 3 tier p@treon straddle split drill sequence. Join me link in socials
Secrets To Do Straddle Splits Safe 1. Engage Proper Alignment And Technique Proper alignment and technique are crucial for safely performing straddle splits. Focus on keeping your spine straight and shoulders relaxed throughout the movement. Avoid rounding your back or hunching forward, as it can strain your lower back (I learned that the hard way!).
Engage your core muscles to support your body and distribute the stretch evenly. Listen to your body and adjust the positioning of your legs and feet to find a comfortable and safe range of motion for your flexibility.
2. Core And Hip Strengthening Building strength in your core and hips is crucial for safe straddle splits. A strong core provides stability and support to your body while in the split position. Planks, twists and leg raises are my go-to exercises for this.
I also strongly advise including hip-strengthening exercises like clamshells, hip bridges, and squats to improve the stability and control of your hips during the splits.
3. Balancing Flexibility With Strength While flexibility is essential for straddle splits, it’s equally important to balance it with strength. Overly flexible muscles without sufficient strength can lead to instability and vulnerability to injury.
Alongside stretching, incorporate strength training exercises that target the muscles involved in the splits, such as inner thighs, hamstrings, and hip flexors. This balance between flexibility and strength will provide a solid foundation for safe and controlled straddle splits.

We will always have sexual thoughts. It is in fact a gift and a pleasure to our lives. However we've forgot we do not have say all our thought to everyone.
Sexual thoughts are a natural and healthy part of human sexuality. Everyone experiences sexual thoughts at different times and in different ways, and there is no right or wrong way to experience them. Having sexual thoughts is a normal and healthy part of human sexuality. It is just how we express and act on them and in which spaces we need to be mindful.
As you walk down the street and see an attract woman. You would not spill all your sexual fantasies to her but on the internet we do. We need to learn and nourish environments first to make sure these thoughts are welcome. If they are not welcome it is still okay to have them. Just like in the street. You just take them home to enjoy.
Masturbation can actually be good for your health, both mentally and physically. And it's pretty much the safest sex out there — there's no risk of getting pregnant or getting an STD. When you have an orgasm, your body releases endorphins, which are hormones that block pain and make you feel good.
love how Esther Perel puts this. For me art is such a gift for the imagination is alive. For me the ability to put it in our minds even though we did enact it is such a gift to cultivate pleasure.
Animals have sex and it is the nature, it is the primary urge, it is the instinct, it is procreative. [Humans] have an erotic life. We transform sexuality. We socialize sexuality through our imagination. And the central agent of the erotic act is our creativity, our imagination, or ability to renew, our ability to anticipate… We can envision the act without having to actually enact it. And it is the cultivation of pleasure for its own sake.“

De@d Butt Syndrome’ – SAY WHAT?! There are more and more articles coming out, especially in recent months in light of our global pandemic, about a supposed ‘de@d butt syndrome’, or ‘gluteal amnesia’. This condition is thought to be characterized by a person’s body ‘forgetting’ how to ‘turn on’ or ‘fire’ a gluteal contraction due to extended periods of time in a seated position. But can this actually happen? If it does happen, how does this actually happen anatomically? Can our glute muscles actually ‘forget’ how to activate properly? Do long periods of sitting actually have an effect on our muscle mass, appearance, and strength? In this article, we explore the validity of gluteal amnesia about how to turn on your glutes as well as provide you with exercises that will actually target your glutes!
What are the glutes?
The gluteal muscle group, known as the “glutes” for short, is actually composed of three muscles, the gluteus maximus, gluteus minimus, and the gluteus medius. These muscles make up our buttocks region and are responsible for hip extension, abdüction, and internal and external rotation. They originate on the ilium (rounded portion of the hip) and extend to the greater trochanter (rounded upper portion of the femur).
Gluteal Muscle Anatomy
Functionally, the glute muscles are responsible for keeping us in an upright stance and position and help us to perform functional activities such as the squat, lunge, walk, and climb stairs. They are often directly or indirectly linked to a person’s overall strength and fitness and are common muscle groups that are trained in a gym setting.
Is Glute Amnesia Real? – Nerve Injury Anatomy
Have you ever sat so long that your legs start to ‘fall asleep’? What you are experiencing is a compressive type nerve injury, and there are a few reasons why this can happen. Sustained pressure on an area causes what is known as neuropraxia. In this scenario, there is a small amount of focal damage to the myelin sheath, or the ‘outer covering’ of a nerve. The electrical supply remains intact, and the nerve is still able to conduct impulses to contract our muscles. The sensation usually subsides when we shift positions to alleviate pressure or get up and move around. The myelin sheath has the ability to repair itself over time, causing no symptoms or issues with muscle bulk.
If there is sustained pressure on a nerve over a period of several hours or days, or worse, a direct traumatic injury to a nerve, more significant damage can occur. Examples of these are a crush injury, double crush, or palsy. In these examples, the electrical supply (axon) of the nerve is damaged, and the person will be left with longer-lasting symptoms such as chronic numbness and tingling, gait and mobility issues, or inability to use their damaged limb.
Why do i mention this? What we experience when we sit for extended periods of time throughout the day is a mild insult to the nerve and not sustained damage that is irrecoverable. We have the ability to naturally shift and change our positions to alleviate sustained pressure. We naturally do not sit perfectly still unless we have a pre-existing condition that forces us to do so. Therefore it is unlikely that we are providing enough sustained pressure to our superior gluteal nerve at any given time to impair the electrical supply from the nerve to the muscle, which causes muscular atrophy (muscle wasting).
Great news! Youre glutes cannot simply turn off!
Now, this is just one factor when we consider all of the potential adverse effects that prolonged sitting can have on our bodies.
