I’ve had this jacket for years now but I still love it. It’s such a unique statement piece and I can dress it up or down. I can wear it out to the club with skinny jeans and a nice belt or I can wear it to with sweats to McDonalds! Eccentric yet versatile. I got it online from a store called American Stitch! This specific jacket is no longer for sale but if you like the style, check out their new merchandise! (Link attached below)

CUSTOM CHAINS!
I love having custom chains made by different jewelry designers online and in person! I don’t spend more than $50 on each one because I like to buy multiple (and I tend to lose them since I don’t keep them locked away with my nicer jewelry).
They’re fun to have and it’s always good to support boutique jewelers. My favorite and most recent creation is my OnlyFans chain! It was made by one of my friends who has a dope Etsy shop (link attached below) and Instagram page (@protostarshop) where she makes custom, high quality chains at a really affordable price!

JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER - The End Of An Era :(
A little background: if you haven’t heard of Jean-Paul Gaultier, he is one of the OG couture designers and the one you can thank for integrating the corset into modern fashion (if you pay close attention, almost all of your most flattering outfits have a subtle corset design to them). He was the creative designer for Hermes for a long time in addition to having his own line under his name.
In my opinion, Gaultier is the #1 most important designer in men’s fashion because he was really the one who first started designing men’s clothing to be more fitted and flattering as opposed to being shapeless and boxy.
This is the only shirt I have from him right now, but you can see how the design brings the waist in (sort of like a corset) using the silk lining on the sides. It’s also structured and cropped at the waist so that you don’t have to tuck it in in order for it to hold a tight/slim shape when you move around in it. His clothes are definitely made specifically for men with a slim figure ((humble brag)).
Gaultier officially retired this year, marking 2020 as the end of his career (which is pretty understandable at the age of 68). If you want to buy anything from him now, you have to hit the resale stores. Luckily, since he’s not one of the more “mainstream” designers, there isn’t a ton of fake Jean-Paul Gaultier merchandise being produced, so you can usually trust what you find.
TREND WATCH: Swim Trunks With Underwear Waistband Showing
A lot of people really hate this trend. I pretty much only hear negative feedback when I see it on other people. BUT I think there are ways to make it work. You usually see this with Calvin Klein but I also see it with Tommy Hilfiger and Dolce and Gabbana underwear.
I chose the Calvin Klein underwear because I love how the color goes with the swim trunks. I chose the Daddy underwear because.... come on... it says “DADDY”. How could you not wanna show that to everyone?
So overall... do you think I can pull it off?

#purchaseoftheday
I’d like to start by saying I am VERY happy with this purchase and I don’t care if nobody else likes it. Sometimes you gotta go with your gut and wear what makes you happy even if you don’t get the approval of others.
I got this shirt from the Dolce and Gabbana store in the Design District of Miami. I was walking through an art exhibit with my friends and the little museum was next door to all of my favorite designer boutiques. I couldn’t focus on the exhibit knowing I was sacrificing shopping time, so I left after a few minutes to go shop on my own. Worth it.
The price was a little absurd even to me (almost $800 for a tank top) but I think I can justify buying it because it’s from one of my favorite designers, it was limited edition (they were only selling three of them tots), handmade (which is very rare for something that is for sale in-store), and... I was on vacation.
My friend took this video of me walking into the food court to join them all when I finally finished shopping. I was very proud explaining it. They all hated it, as you can tell from their commentary, but I love it so I could care less ❤️
⚫️✨VERSACE✨⚫️ — Too Flashy For Fashion?
I used to be totally opposed to buying anything Versace. Most of their stuff is still too gaudy for me... however, sometimes I can find ways to tone down the flashiness of the products I like and make them wearable for me!
This dog tag necklace was originally on a much thicker chain. So I took the pendants off, sold the gold chain on Facebook Marketplace, and put that money toward buying a much thinner gold chain. Now it looks a little classier.
I’m also not usually one to spend money on designer underwear, but I actually love Versace underwear and think it’s worth the price. I wish it was socially acceptable to walk around in just underwear and jewelry, because personally I think this second look is actually kinda dope. Unlock the photos and tell me what you think!

#purchaseoftheday
Another purchase from the RealReal! This is probably the best deal I’ve gotten on there. It was a crazy discount for a used ring with barely any signs of wear!
After I bought this ring on the left (see second slide) I wanted another ring for my other hand to go with it, but I wasn’t about to spend that much money on another David Yurman piece. I lucked out and found this one on the RealReal that matches so beautifully with the one I bought from the Yurman store!
My favorite thing about David Yurman is that all of their jewelry matches, even if the designs are totally different, because they have such a distinct and unique style!
CONSIGNMENT SHOPPING! (Swipe for full video)
Shopping at consignment stores is a great way to save money if you care about owning your own clothing from high end designers but don’t have the budget to be buying new Louboutins every week. But you have to be smart about it if you want to avoid getting scammed.
🛍 💕🛍✨🛍💕🛍✨🛍
SITES I TRUST
I only have two go-to consignment sites (that also have apps) that I completely trust— Vestaire Collective and The RealReal. Both of these companies require proof of authenticity from the seller, then have them authenticated by their employer experts, then they provide the buyer with the paperwork proving that it has been authenticated. No, their discounts generally aren’t anything spectacular, but it’s worth shopping on them because once in a while you will find some AMAZING deals on designer items that you know are REAL. But you have to check the sites often, because the really good deals usually sell out within a few days of being posted. However, they have been involved in a recent lawsuit being accused of selling fake goods, but nothing has been proven.
There are other websites I trust for the most part that I’ve only had positive experiences with like Grailed and Lyst— but I don’t know enough about their authentication process to vouch for them and say they’re 100% safe.
🛍 💕🛍✨🛍💕🛍✨🛍
SITES *NOT *TO TRUST
The #1 most common website that I see people get ripped off by is POSHMARK! I’ve purchased three times from them on separate occasions and all three times I received were obviously fake. I gave them multiple chances in hopes these deals could be real. But now when I check the site on occasion, I can tell that about half of the products for sale are clearly counterfeited.
Mercari also sells a lot of fake designer products, but they make it more obvious than poshmark because they’ll claim to be selling a real Louis Vuitton bag for $20. At least most sellers on Poshmark are smart enough to charge a few hundred to make it look more realistic.
Even though I don’t have any photos of my club outfits from going out in Miami this past weekend, I do have this little video my friend took of me at the strip club and it gives you a really nice look at my Modus Vivendi blue velvet short-sleeve button down shirt. You can really see the beautiful color and rich texture!
I posted a photo of this shirt when I talked about my “five favorite designers you might not know of” and I mentioned that their use of beautifully textured fabrics is one of my favorite things about Modus Vivendi’s clothing! I highly recommend checking out their website if you haven’t already... and this shirt is still available for sale online! They call it the “Tiffany’s Velvet Shirt” (link attached below)
https://e-modusvivendi.com/streetwear/shirt/tiffanys-velvet-shirt-12041-blue/
Sooo I totally forgot to take pictures when I was in Miami this weekend... this is the only picture I took of myself over the whole trip... But at least I got one with some beautiful scenery (definitely not in my hotel bathroom)!
I finally got some more stuff from PHIX (a brand I’ve written about previously). This red leopard print button down shirt was giving me Miami club vibes, so I had to get it for my trip! Definitely happy with this purchase.

#purchaseoftheday
I got this ring in the Design District in Miami, one of my absolute favorite places to shop. I thought it would have been a lot more expensive than it is, but it sells for $330. That’s the beauty of fashion jewelry.
It’s still available for purchase on their website

DAVID YURMAN- Thoroughbred Cushion Link Ring (in sterling silver with diamonds)
#purchaseoftheday
I love David Yurman because the designs are so unique to their brand. You can always spot a Yurman ring even if you’ve never seen that specific piece before because they have a very specific style that no other brands really have (except for knock-offs that replicate the style in lower quality). However, what I don’t like about David Yurman is that it’s SO overpriced for sterling silver. But I still give into the temptation, not just because I like how it looks, but also because it’s coming from a designer that I really respect.
The same model is available online without diamonds, but it is available with diamonds in stores. ($450 all silver, $750 silver with diamonds)

EMPTY REFERENCE- flannel shirt
#purchaseoftheday
I ordered this Empty Reference shirt on Intl Collective, a cool shopping site that features a bunch of different small streetwear designer. Not gonna lie, the quality isn’t quite what I expected it to be for the price (especially coming from a designer that isn’t well-established), but I love the style of it and overall I’m happy with my purchase!
Currently available on Intl Collective for $130

COMME DE GARÇON- red leather wallet
#purchaseoftheday
I replaced my old wallet and bought this one for two reasons that both stem from me being wildly irresponsible with my belongings:
1) I wanted a bright color wallet instead of black because I always throw my wallet into a pile clothes when I get home and then I can’t find it when I’m rushing out of the house because it’s camouflaged bu my all-black apparel.
2) I wanted a wallet that zips all the way around because I always lose credit cards, IDs, and keys because they somehow fall out of my wallet.
It is currently available *on sale* for $137 on Cettire

#5: MODUS VIVENDI
Out of all the five brands I’ve talked about, Modus Vivendi is the one I have the most clothing from. My favorite thing about them is the range of unique textures they use. Sooo many different materials. And they fit me great. This blank tank is suede, the button down is velvet, and the silver tank is made out of a material that looks and feels like metal (they call it their “armor” line). Modus Vivendi mostly sells underwear but they also make some dope clothing! Check then out. (Link below)

Hope you liked these brands and looked into at least one of their websites! I’ll send more photos from this shoot that I didn’t post in our DMs 💕💕
This outfit is made up of 3 different items that I’ve talked about this week! The white neoprene see-through shirt from Mass Branded, the black sweatpants with grommets down the side from Hologram City, and the white platform sneakers with silver skill studs from Alexander McQueen... and this is my dog Louie ❤️
P.S. Humble brag, Mass Branded reposted this pic on their Instagram page 😊😊
My Five Favorite Brands You Might Not Have Heard Of...
#4: MASS BRANDED
Mass Branded is a small clothing brand with a relatively small collection of clothing for sale. They have a very specific and unique aesthetic (it’s like a stormtrooper going to a gay nightclub). I think their clothes are really cool but I could see how someone else could they’re really ugly. In addition to the design being unique, they use neoprene for these shirts and pants which gives them a structured look while still being comfortable. It feels like wearing a mesh scuba suit. I’ll wear their clothes when I go out at night, just not together. Then it’s too stormtrooper-y.

#3: PHIX
PHIX is a brand I just discovered through Instagram a few weeks ago and now I’m OBSESSED with it. Here I’m wearing their sequin lightning bolt denim shirt. I only have this one shirt from them because I’ve spent a lot of money recently and can’t buy a lot more stuff right now. It isn’t at the same price point as high end designers like Givenchy or Alexander McQueen, but it is a lot more expensive than SHEIN or ASOS (all of which I’ve written about in previous posts). Most of the shirts are around $120.
They use lots of fun patterns along with mixed textures and materials. The designs are eccentric without being costume-y. When I ordered this shirt I was a little worried about what it would look like in person. Buying things online is always a risk when it comes to quality, especially with leather or sequins. When I got it in the mail, I was definitely impressed. I have a LOT more things that I want from their site, so that is definitely where I’m going to next once I save up some money!!!

#2: ADOLFO DOMINGUEZ
Adolfo Dominguez is a Spanish brand that only had one store in the United States and it was located in Miami, but it is no longer in business. However, their website does ship to the US. They used to have some really interesting pieces, but recently they have been much more mainstream and what I would consider to be bland. I would not shop there these days.
The two shirts I have from them are probably the two most interesting shirts that I own. They are so unique in that they have 3D effects.
The white shirt has two layers attached— a cotton layer and a mesh layer. Both layers have the same overlaying pattern so when you move around, it looks like the pattern is moving, sort of like wearing 3D glasses and staring at a patterned shirt (see first video for a closer look at
the two layers).
The pattern on the burgundy shirt actually is raised off of the fabric so I guess you could say it actually is 3D (see second video for a closer look at the texture).
Like I said, I wouldn’t shop there anymore. But if you reallllly wanna see their website, the link is attached below.

My Five Favorite Brands You Might Not Have Heard Of...
#1: HOLOGRAM CITY
Hologram City is a super eccentric brand that is known for their festival-style apparel and for using a lot of mesh. Like, a LOT of mesh... which I love. They market their clothing to festival-goers, that is what they are best known for. Most of their stuff is too outrageous for most people to wear every day.
I have this tracksuit from them that I wear all the time. This is just the hoodie, but I got the matching sweatpants too. Unfortunately a lot of my clothes are stored away right now because I'm in the process of moving, so I couldn't take a picture. It is not as eccentric as a lot of their other merchandise, so I actually can wear it every day. It has metal rings going down the sides all the way from the shoulders to the ankles. I think the style is a little goth (which is interesting because most of their clothing fits more of a "gogo-boy" aesthetic). I actually describe my personal fashion sense as "goth chic" and, once again, this fits the theme of plain black with little details and/or mixed materials... which describes almost my entire wardrobe.
On the more eccentric side, I did buy a pair of see-through mesh pants from them that I have worn out in public a few times (but they are also packed away right now).
Check out their website! Their merchandise is only available online!

MY FIVE FAVORITE BRANDS YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE HEARD OF!
For the next five days, I'm going to post about a different one of my favorite small clothing brands that I found through Instagram that most people would not have heard of. I found all of these stores because they were recommended to me through Instagram ads (shout out to data mining!!) I loooove how Instagram knows my style so well and their ads lead me to find all of these brands I never would have come across otherwise. I buy a lot of my clothes off of Instagram ads. I have some people tell me not to do this because they think a lot of these websites are scams. Ok, some of them MIGHT be... I did have to cancel 8 different credit cards last year because of theft... but I think it's just a coincidence. Either way, honestly WORTH IT.
First post will be up later tonight! xoxo
Seriously having club withdrawals, I already miss it even with the face masks and plastic barriers between tables 😭

Sneaking a little fast fashion into luxury... 🤫
What do you think of my outfit from last night? I wore a long sleeve mesh shirt from ASOS under a denim jacket with mesh cut outs that I got on Shein. It was an eccentric choice to do mesh on mesh, but I think I pulled it off 😉 my only regret is not wearing a gold belt... would’ve really tied everything together with the gold Versace dog tag necklace and the gold zippers on these Giuseppe Zanotti shoes!
For things I know I won’t wear more than a few times (like this super distressed denim jacket with mesh cut outs) I try to save my money by shopping on fast fashion sites. The only two I really use are ASOS and Shein, because I feel like I can find cool things that I don’t see anyone wearing, and without feeling guilty about draining my bank account! As long as it’s paired with nice accessories, a cheap jacket can still look high fashion!
Me and my bff @dressuperis finally did a collab video— STYLE SWAP! It was so fun. I put her in my clothes and styled an outfit for her, and she did the same for me! We were talking to my dad and told him about the style swap and he said “but... you’re a boy... and she’s a girl...” 😂😂 obviously DAD doesn’t understand unisex fashion (especially with street style clothing). Eris has the best style, you should check out her page too!
https://onlyfans.com/dressuperis
I used to wear skinny jeans every single day but right now I’m really diggin track pants. I used to think they would look sloppy on me because they’re baggy and my legs are twigs, but as long as I wear a fitted t-shirt on top then it looks chic enough to wear for a night out! The lightweight material is perfect for when you have to wear long pants to get into the club but don’t wanna get too hot. Throw on a bomber jacket and you’ve got a perfect fall outfit too!
