Getting ready for a rained-out stargazing trip with a new friend from the gym. We were determined to make the best of it—and ps the hot tub was closed of course! We still had a great time.
I was also trying one of the hair pieces I bought to up my game but decided that it’s too much effort. I love how my priorities have changed as I continue to prepare for this once in a lifetime experience.

08.11.24—Practical Day Outfit
This one is the comfiest of outfits so far. Blue floral crochet top from Target and green crochet skirt from Puerto Rico with green swim thong under. The hat is not cute, but I will need real life sun protection my friends. The blue combat boots are the most comfortable pair of shoes for the trip so far—so I like matching a lot of the outfits to it!
I’m having second thoughts about some of the more elaborate and intricate outfits. I want to be practical and comfortable but also cute. Additionally, the more I read about it, the more I feel bad about wearing sequins and feathers to this event. They kind of discourage it due to the potential of it falling off and creating matter of of place (MOOP). Anyway—I need to finalize all outfits and finish packing the clothes by this Friday. I want to be done with this task.

Shamelessly using the last of my lotion. It’s time to get back to my frugal ways. No more clothes shopping for BM—I will make do with what I have now. No more clothes shopping period. lol

This video is probably not that exciting, as I am dressed by (3:35). However, I know that I am more than my body, and you totally want to see where this outfit goes. 🤭😉🫠
I am glad that I kept recording because watching the playback I realize it would be perfect with the belt and the high boots for a nighttime outfit. It’s harder to create cute outfits that are still warm for the evenings. This could definitely be one! I just need a little crop top jacket to finish the look. One of my girlfriends pointed out the backpack might not be summer sun friendly, shifting my perspective of this outfit to an evening look.
