I was taking some time going through my pictures and such that I took while I was in Orlando a couple weeks ago. It feels like it’s been an eternity since then, and I’d somewhat forgotten about all the videos and pictures I’d taken. So, I’ll be working on sharing everything with you all over the next week or so.
I look back at the pictures from my trip and it feels like life has changed so much since then 😔 It’s been hard but every day gets a little better.
I know you all have been missing my soft cold feet and toes 😉❤️
Sorry for being quiet here the past week. My husband’s mom unexpectedly passed away recently, so I was out of town for the funeral. I got back home today and I’m taking a day or two to relax. The past 2 weeks have been exhausting, and I need a day or two of doing absolutely nothing. Even though the inside of my house looks like a tornado has hit it, my garden is getting wild, I have full suitcases in my bedroom from both my Orlando and funeral trip that I’ve not unpacked, there’s a lot of laundry to be done, and I’ve got dog hair tumble weeds floating across my floor, I am giving myself a break🤦♀️😅 I can’t stand not having a tidy house but sometimes you just have to listen to your body and rest.
So on that note, I’m going to enjoy my weekend being a potato and I hope you have a good weekend as well 😊❤️
I’m not a big fan of wearing dresses but I like how they provide easy access 🙈

2024-05-22 23:33:40 +0000 UTC View PostI’m currently on vacation in Orlando and on Wednesday my husband found out his mom unexpectedly passed away 😭 We’re in the middle of our trip but we’re going to have to go back home earlier than we planned. Then we are going to have to go visit his family and help take care of funeral arrangements and such.
Some of you know I’ve been struggling with some things lately and this is just heartbreaking 😢 I saw a light at the end of the tunnel for the crap I’ve been dealing with and this has made my already overwhelmed self an emotional mess. We’re supposed to be having our yard fixed because the grading was done incorrectly almost causing my house to flood. I found out my IUD is improperly placed(it may go through my muscle 🤦♀️) so I have to get it removed and replaced in about a week. And now I’m dealing with the death of a family member ☹️
I’ve lost family members in the past, but this is the closest person I’ve lost 😞 My husband and I had talked to her on the phone the day before and now she is gone forever 😭
I am going to be focusing on supporting and being there for my husband the next few days. I’ll occasionally check in, but don’t take it personally if I’m slow to respond to messages/comments over the next week or so.

Anyways, I wanted to take the time to chat and catch up about what’s been going on the past few weeks. Something happened and I was like this can’t be real life….this has got to be a prank or something 😅🫣 It unfortunately was real and I’m still surprised by it 🤯 These past few weeks I’ve been trying to embrace living in a world of “if it can go wrong, it will go wrong”. It’s been overwhelming to deal with but I’ve been doing my best to manage everything.
Some people here have asked why I’m not posting on here as frequently as what I used to. I thought chatting about what’s been going on may help everyone have a better understanding of what I’ve been dealing with lately. I tend to see myself as a pretty tough and resilient person but these past few weeks have been pretty rough on me 😮💨
People always say bad things happen in threes so I’m sitting here patiently waiting to find out what happens next 😂

I recently got a treadmill which means my feet are getting hot and sweaty everyday 🙈 The only time my feet never feel like popsicles is when I am working out. So if you want to enjoy my sweaty feet, you better be waiting for me to finish working out 🙈
I’ve been lifting weights and now that I have a treadmill, I hop on it with a steep incline and walk for about an hour and a half 🥵 I’m a complete nerd though and moved the treadmill into my living room so I can game while I walk 🙈😂 It makes time fly and I have fun while I’m dying “walking up a hill” for about 70-90 minutes. As always, I had to include the courtesy Molly photobomb at the end. If I’m within licking distance she always somehow knows. She magically appears trying to snipe me with kisses that I don’t want on my face (she knows not to lick my face but she is petty and tries to sneakily do it anyways🤦♀️).
If you happen to leave your phone unattended while I’m around, I can’t help but take advantage of such a great opportunity. Don’t worry, I’m not going through your phone🙄 I’m just leaving naughty pictures on your phone for you to randomly find later 😉 Hopefully no one goes nosing through your phone after I’m done with it 🤭
Sometimes when my husband leaves his phone behind I take a few pictures for him to find later. He messaged me when he found this one while he was at work 😂 I’m always like gee idk how that got there 🤷♀️🙈 I think he may have learned to leave his phone behind so he continues to get my sneaky pictures 🤭🙈
These feet turn another year older today 🙈 🎂 🎉
I’ve never owned a pair of crocs until a family member gave them to me today as a gift. They thought they’d be perfect for me when I do gardening or go to the beach. They aren’t the cutest shoes but I love the color 😅

About 2 years ago I moved from Arizona back to the east coast to be closer to family. I stayed with family while I was shopping for a new home and it was a beyond stressful experience. To escape the chaos I wanted to get away and do something fun. I hopped online late one night and somehow went down the path of looking at how to be an extra in a movie… we all know how easy it is to get lost researching random stuff online 😂. I ended up coming across a request from a casting agency saying they needed people that had military/tactical experience… I had both so I applied for the opportunity (I was a police officer in the military🙈🙈). The next morning I got a phone call, and the following week I started filming! It was a super fun, cool, and unique experience. I’m glad I went down a rabbit hole on my computer that night and found the opportunity to do something I’ve always wanted to do ❤️ Something I’ve learned as I’ve grown up is that you have to take advantage of the time and opportunity to do things that you want to do in your life, because no one else is going to do them for you. If there’s something you want to do, do it! Unless it’s something bad.. then don’t do that, or I might just have to arrest you 🤷♀️🙈
I’ve had quite a few people ask for pictures of me in my military uniform and I have to say this is about as close as you’ll get 😅 When I worked I pretty much wore a similar uniform to this everyday minus the helmet, and I had an M-9 in a holster strapped to my leg. I also had a baton, taser, and handcuffs in case I needed to arrest any naughty boys 😉
My husband told me he liked my “new” shirt but little does he know one of his friends gave it to me 😅🙈 We had all been on a trip and his friend couldn’t fit the shirt into his luggage, so he gave it to me ❤️ I think you’d give me one of your shirts if you had the opportunity to 😉
Sorry for being quiet the past few days. As I previously shared a few months ago,
I had been struggling with some issues in regards to my mental health due to the birth control pills I had been taking. Well, after a lot of consideration I decided to swap from a pill to an IUD. I had it put in on monday and let’s just say I’ve been curled up in a ball dying from cramps the past few days. I’ve had surgeries and injuries throughout my life, but that was definitely one of the more painful things I’ve experienced🫣. I’m hoping to be feel better soon because I can’t stand laying around😅
Hopefully you don’t mind me putting my feet on the table 😉🙈
I had some family visiting for a few days, but now I have the house back to myself 😊

I’m so tired and sore from working on all sorts of projects. Last night I was talking to my husband when I realized how tired I was. I told him “it wants to go to bed”. He responded with before or after “it puts the lotion on its skin?” 😂 I was like what?! Then I realized I referenced myself as an it and I then decided it was time to go to bed 🤣😂

I did quite a bit of gardening and replanting plants yesterday. I took some time to enjoy my pretty roses … they smell soo good 😊 Last night I decided to relax and watch a movie. I was snuggled up with my dog … you can kind of see her paws in the picture 🤣
I only have a few more plants to plant and then I’ll be done with starting up my garden. I have to stain my new raised garden bed first before I can finish planting everything 😅 I also have to replace my kitchen faucet. It decided to start leaking yesterday AFTER I got home from Lowe’s (where I somehow managed to buy another rose bush when I went to buy support stakes for my blueberry bushes … which I forgot to buy 😅🤣)🤦♀️.
I get distracted easily… I was going to get in the shower but I decided to game naked for a bit instead 😝

I’m so sorry for being quiet here the past two weeks 🥺 I’ve been soo busy with house projects.
A few days ago I finally got my old fence ripped down and removed from my yard. Last night I was working outside in the dark with a headlamp on getting concrete poured to finish installing new fence posts. My missing squat rack pieces finally came in a few days ago so I can finish putting my home gym together. I still have a couple plants I need to finish planting and then I’ll pretty much be done with big house projects.
This morning I woke up and I was like omg I’m so sore and I don’t want to do anything else. I’m so close to being done so I’m going to go hard today to get it all done.
I’ll hopefully be back to more consistent posting next week as I’ll be free from working on big projects.
