Why am I not wearing my gauges (earrings for gauged ears) this time? Because before I snapped these pics, i was chillin with my chickens, they’re about 2 months old. One of them hopped up on my lap. While my head was turned, lil guy took the opportunity to steal my fuckin gauge out of my ear! Just grabbed it real fast with his beak & ran away ! 😭 I chased him & pleaded him to give it back. He was too fuckin fast! 😂😂😂 so I guess he ate it lol I’m not that concerned bc the gauge was opal ( not expensive tho so I don’t think it was a true opal idk ) & rocks are an essential part of chicken diet. They don’t have teeth so they swallow rocks to break up their food. The chicken will be fine . Me however, I need ! some new fucking gauges! 💀😂

For some reason, the number 13 has been a symbol of death & rebirth, maybe because there is 13 moon cycles in a year, or maybe because of the 13 cycles a healthy woman has in a year, maybe both.
Back then, Friday the 13th was a dedicated to celebrating of fertility & femininity & goddesses.
However about two thousand years ago, to instill fear & suppress the feminine & assert power, Christianity deemed Friday the 13th a day of death & bad luck & the devil.
👏 Let’s not continue that trend 👏

I’m pretty happy with where I’m at in my mind. I feel good in this vessel. I used to feel pretty down about being a woman, like my body was a problem or inconvenience. My period stopped me from going out sometimes & made me highly emotional. my boobs have always been a distraction in conversations& I’ve always had a small voice. Only recently have I began to see these as strengths. My voice forces others to listen harder & pay attention to what I’m saying.
