I just submitted this article to a Magazine and thought you would want to take a sneak peak!!!! Can you share a story with us about the most humorous mistake you made when you were first starting? What lesson or take-away did you learn from that? There's a couple memorable ones. First one that comes to mind is when I worked at an adult spa, for some reason I think I remember giving the guy a handjob/bj with a condom on. I think they failed to go into detail re safety precautions. I also got the highest stripper shoes I could when I started dancing, the ones with no ankle support, so I was shuffling around and hobbling on stage until I could get to one of the 2 poles. I'm sure it looked ridiculous!! As an influencer, you have been blessed with great success in a career path that many have attempted, but eventually gave up on. In fact, perhaps most people who tried to follow a career path like yours did not succeed. Do you have any words of advice for others who may want to embark on this career path but know that their dreams might be dashed? Youtube is a passion of mine. The other media ventures kind of act as a funnel to my main money makers, be it my main personal site, my cam site, or my Onlyfans. I do it out of love for creativity, not to be at the top or a certain goal for money. But, with that being said, I'm always looking for ways to fine tune what I'm doing and make it better. Also, I've been on Youtube for 6 years so that one I think is more of a long game plus consistency. That being said, attempting to find a balance between posting 'enough' and having a life can make you go crazy, so I plan as best I can while leaving room for flow days. Can you share with our readers some of the strategies you’ve used to build an engaged, loyal, and large online community? I started with bikini videos to use my body to get views. (No shame, lol.) Then I would expand to topics I liked and pull inspo from other models or if something seemed vloggable, I'd record it and see if I could edit it into something I'd want to watch. I'll often watch some of my fav youtubers in other countries of my age range just to see what they're up to, or what life could be like over somewhere else. I try to post as much as I can without being annoying if that makes sense. I like replying to people online if they come up with a good comment or I can tell they're always watching/commenting. I have some good mentors that guide me, but I don't put my entire energy into worrying if something will go viral or not. There's a lot of things you can do. Tags, trends, themes. I've gotten this far without even focusing on TikTok which I feel is kind of mind numbing, lol. At least with youtube, I'm out in the world and you can just put me on in the background or sit down and relax and see the world through my perspective for a bit. I think that makes a difference, it's more connecting that way. I don't really consider myself that big, the algorithms are f**d lol. I think I mentioned a few controversial things one too many times, I would be a lot more big if I didn't. But fighting for freedom of speech is imperative in these times. Ok thank you for all that. Now let’s shift to the main focus of our interview. In my work, I focus on how one can thrive and care for oneself in three areas: body, mind, and heart. You are a busy person with a demanding schedule, can you share with our readers two self-care routines, practices or treatments that help your body thrive? (Kindly share a story or an example for each.) Workouts and meditation are my main focus against stress. Workouts are non-negotiable most mornings, since my body is my money maker. Not to mention what it does for your mental state. This in turn naturally drives me to eat better and attracts good paying clients. It's fun to be sexy and have body definition. There's no off season when you're an entertainer. Meditation is a wonderful tool for calming and manifesting. The power of intention is huge. I actually love researching about quantum physics and putting what I learn into practice. Can you share with us two routines that you use to help your mind or heart to thrive? (Kindly share a story or example for each.) I do my best to keep a strict bedtime so I can get up and read in the morning. I feel smarter this way. I'm always looking for things that I can add to the week that will stimulate me in a different way. Like working with a new photographer, or trying a new mindfulness practice. I keep my heart space well in check with the help of my partner- we have a very open flow of communication which is nice. I learned in hair school to keep yourself constantly inspired, and that's become one of my main mantras in life. Can you help articulate why self-care is so important for your mental wellness? I would be shocked if most influencers didn't have some sort of wellness practice. I know I for one would be lost if I didn't make it a priority. It takes time but the pay off is worth it. Can you share five ideas that anyone can use “to feel beautiful”? (Please share a story or example for each.)1. Be kind to yourself. Make the effort but don't stress about it. 2. Indulge in some beauty services.3. Eat well and workout/meditate. Feeling good from the inside is KEY4. Socializing= less stress. You will look feel and be happier.5. Wear clothes that flatter you and don't be afraid of COLOUR!! Bonus- date someone that likes to always tell you you're beautiful, lol ;) Is there a particular resource, a practitioner, expert, book, or podcast that made a significant impact on you and helped you to thrive? Can you share a story about that with us? One of my main mentors to shape my brand was Lydia Dupra, known as the Heaux mentor. She doesn't mentor anymore, she now has a hugely successful cosmetic line targeted for sex workers. Before that she was an upscale pornstar/esc0rt in L.A. So she took my brand from average to high end. I still watch her tutorial videos often to remind me how I can tighten up here and there. I'm still inspired by her. That a goal I think a lot of us have- to go from 'heaux' to CEO. As an influencer, you are a person of great influence. If you could inspire a movement that would bring the most amount of good to the most amount of people, what would that be? You never know what your idea can trigger. This is why I love doing what I do- being open about being in the adult world as much as I can on mainstream platforms. I try to even encourage clients to be open about seeing companions if possible. Covering the sex show recently was pretty on brand for me- even though as soon as you 18+ a video it gets de-monetized. I plan to go volunteer at SWAP soon which is a sex worker outreach program, and hopefully interview one of the main owners. I want to move from this perceived victim mentality and show the broader spectrum of the industry of those who choose to be in it and love it. We are very blessed that some of the biggest names in Business, VC funding, Sports, and Entertainment read this column.
